This level 8034 1451 39 has energy 532.48 keV with spin and parity 13/2+ [1]. 8034 1451 40 Microscopic experimental data [2-8] were analyzed in the 8034 1451 41 process of preparation of input data base for the evaluation of 8034 1451 42 cross sections and their uncertainty for the Hg-199(n,n')Hg-199m 8034 1451 43 reaction. During this procedure all experimental data if it was 8034 1451 44 possible were corrected to the new recommended cross section data 8034 1451 45 for monitor reactions used in the measurements and to the decay 8034 1451 46 data from Ref.[1]. 8034 1451 47 Data base for the evaluation Hg-199(n,n')Hg-199m excitation 8034 1451 48 function was formed from microscopic experimental data [2], [4-8] 8034 1451 49 and data received from theoretical model calculations. Experimen- 8034 1451 50 tal data [4-8] were corrected to the new standards. 8034 1451 51 Cross section data measured by C.Swan and F.Metezger [2] near 8034 1451 52 threshold for the incident neutron energies 0.57 - 2.22 MeV were 8034 1451 53 renormalyzed to experimental data of K.Sakuri et al. [7] obtained 8034 1451 54 in the measurements with Li-7(p,n)Be-7 neutron source. Correction 8034 1451 55 factor, Fc=2.7151+-3.3%, was determined from the ratio of cross 8034 1451 56 section intergrals in the overlapping energy region 1.120 - 1.850 8034 1451 57 MeV. 8034 1451 58 All cross sections measured by K.Sakuri et al. [7] in the 8034 1451 59 energy interval 1.79-6.27 MeV with using neutrons from D(d,n)He3 8034 1451 60 reaction were renormalized to the absolute cross section value of 8034 1451 61 255.45 mb at 1.790 MeV obtained from the measurements carried out 8034 1451 62 with Li-7(p,n)Be-7 neutron source. Renormalized data [7] connects 8034 1451 63 well with cross sections measured by A.Kagalenko et al.[8] in the 8034 1451 64 enegry range 7.04-9.98 MeV. 8034 1451 65 Cross section values given by A.Kagalenko et al. [8] for the 8034 1451 66 incident neutron energies 9.02, 9.47 and 9.98 MeV were corrected 8034 1451 67 for the contribution from Hg-200(n,2n)Hg-199m reaction. Data for 8034 1451 68 Hg-200(n,2n)Hg-199m reaction cross section were taken from new 8034 1451 69 evaluation of V.N.Manokhin [9]. 8034 1451 70 Information about Hg-199(n,n')Hg-199m reaction excitation fun-8034 1451 71 ction above 10 MeV was obtained from experimental data [5-6] and 8034 1451 72 theoretical model calculations. Theoretical model calculations 8034 1451 73 was carried out by means of GNASH code [10]. Modified version of 8034 1451 74 GNASH was used for calculations [11]. 8034 1451 75 Cross section value given in the ref. [3] was not take into 8034 1451 76 account in the evaluation due to a very big discrepancy with the 8034 1451 77 main bulk of experimental data. 8034 1451 78 Evaluation of the Hg-199(n,n')Hg-199m reaction excitation 8034 1451 79 function from threshold to 20 MeV has been carried out within the 8034 1451 80 framework of generalized least squares method , rational function 8034 1451 81 was used as model function [12]. Calculation of recommended cross 8034 1451 82 section data was performed by means of PADE-2 code [13]. 8034 1451 83 Integral experimental data [14,15] for U-235 thermal fission 8034 1451 84 neutron spectrum and [16] for Cf-252 spontaneous fission neutron 8034 1451 85 spectrum were used for testing of evaluated Hg-199(n,n')Hg-199m 8034 1451 86 excitation function. Data for the U-235 thermal fission neutron 8034 1451 87 spectrum and Cf-252 spontaneous fission neutron spectrum were 8034 1451 88 taken from Refs. [17] and [18], respectively.
