[40]. 7925 1451 278 Excitation function for the Au-197(n,2n)Au-196 reaction in 7925 1451 279 the energy region from threshold to 40 MeV was evaluated by means 7925 1451 280 of statistical analysis of experimental cross section data [1-29].7925 1451 281 Special correction was done with experimental data [1], [10], 7925 1451 282 [16], [20], [23], [25], [26] and [28]. 7925 1451 283 Neutron energies: 8.40, 9.10, 9.35 and 9.80 MeV in the experi-7925 1451 284 mental data of Tewes et al. [1] were shifted to -0.25 MeV. 7925 1451 285 Cross section data of Paulsen et al. [10] obtained in the mea-7925 1451 286 surements with N-15(d,n)O-16 neutron source were renormalized to 7925 1451 287 the integral of Frehaut et al. experimental data [13] in the over-7925 1451 288 lapping energy range 10.26-11.53 MeV. Cross sections measured by 7925 1451 289 Paulsen et al. for the incident neutron energies 12.8 - 19.59 MeV 7925 1451 290 by means of T(d,n)He4 neutron source were renormalized to the in- 7925 1451 291 tegral of Greenwood experimental data [19] in the energy range 7925 1451 292 14.5 - 14.9 MeV. Correction factors for thise measurements were 7925 1451 293 Fc= 0.898066 and Fc= 1.14644, respectively. 7925 1451 294 Experimental data of Csikai [16], Ikeda et al.[20] and Fila- 7925 1451 295 tenkov et al. [28] were renormalized to the results of precise 7925 1451 296 measurements of Vonach et al. [2] and Greenwood [19] in the over- 7925 1451 297 lapping energy ranges. Corrected to the new standards experimen- 7925 1451 298 tal data [16], [20] and [28] were multiplied to the coefficients 7925 1451 299 Fc= 0.97027, Fc= 1.07128 and Fc= 0.95662, respectively. 7925 1451 300 Data of Wang Xiuyuan et al. [23] measured relative Al-27(n,a) 7925 1451 301 reaction cross sections were renormalized to the result of absolu-7925 1451 302 te measurement of 2135.5+-151.2 mb obtained in this experiment at 7925 1451 303 14.63 MeV. 7925 1451 304 Total cross sections given for Au-197(n,2n)Au-196 reaction in 7925 1451 305 Ref.
